![]() I'm sure I could get used to any software I was working in but Reaper definitely made my transition super easy and enjoyable. ![]() Thanks to the reaper team for making the product so useful and flexible. I suppose this is just a reflection of what I am thinking and experiencing at the moment. ![]() Perhaps there is no question here or even point. This is an escalating problem as I do more projects. ![]() Now however, I am wondering about staying with "MY" customization and how much trouble that may cause for me over time (I still have a lot of projects left within me). When I got to reaper, I was so pleased to be able to tailor my UX to something that I wanted and could be comfortable with. I came from Samplitude when my last project there simply overloaded the UI to the point of failure. I think the customization options in Reaper are awesome. They are easy to spot and remove but wow there are a lot of them in a lot of projects. ![]() Very quickly I have realized that things can get really crazy fast if I decide to abandon my custom theme and pick up reaper 7.xx (or even some other theme) because I have N projects that are built around my previous theme with "spacer tracks".Īll of these legacy projects (which are all still active in my world), now basically have an extra track in front of all of my folders. Now, with the addition of spacer tracks in 7.xx, I am reconsidering my theme and what happens next. And that's really the only customization but it has been very foundational to my work. It includes spacer tracks that I really need because I get lost easily in all the tracks. With the recent release of version 7.xx and the new theme, I am considering further the theme that I use.Ĭurrently, I am using a custom theme that I made based on 6.xx default. ![]()
